Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)

CIEEM is the leading professional membership body representing and supporting ecologists and environmental managers in the UK, Ireland and abroad.

John Wann (Manager/Principal ecologist) has been a full member of CIEEM since 2002. He served on the committee of the all-Ireland geographical section of CIEEM between 2005 and 2007. He has also served as honorary editor of the e-zine on the council of the Environmental Sciences Association of Ireland.

Aulino Wann & Associates follow all CIEEM, UK codes of professional conduct & are subject to the disciplinary regulations of the Institute.  In addition, we expect all subcontractors to adhere to these regulations.

Golf Environment Organization (GEO)

GEO is an international not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to helping a global golf community establish leadership in environmental enhancement, resource efficiency and community value. GEO offers practical guidance to golf facilities, developments and tournaments, along with administering a credible, third party assessed voluntary sustainability standard system.

GEO provides modern, practical sustainability solutions to golf facilities, tournaments and developments globally. In addition to practical guidance and expert reporting, GEO Certified® is a credible standard and certification mark recognising a facility, development or tournament which has shown commitment to sustainability. Assessed by an independent verifier and upholding the highest codes of good practice, this positive recognition is increasingly valuable to tours, federations, governments and members.

Aulino Wann & Associates are accredited verifiers for the GEO Certified® ecolabel. Every applicant for the GEO Certified® ecolabel is visited by an accredited verifier from the global network of independent professionals. This group of independent experts are all trained on GEO’s sustainability outlook, programmes, and requirements for certification. A visit is made to verify a club’s application, taking into account the many variables that exist in golf; providing ideas for future improvement specific to each facility; and preparing a 3rd party report highlighting the sustainability actions undertaken at the golf club.
